A motion was presented at the October 1 EngSoc Meeting to reduce the Executive Vote on Council. Currently each Executive holds one vote in addition to each class holding a vote. The motion is to reduce the Executive vote down to one which will be exercised by the President. The reasoning behind this motion is to decrease the sway Executive has over council and to empower class representatives to be the driving force behind changes in the Society.
