Want to make your (virtual) mark on campus? Now’s your chance! Submit your designs to EngSoc for a community Snapchat geofilter!
We’re looking for designs that are fun, eye-catching, and somehow representative of engineering at Waterloo.
The winning submission will become a permanent community filter, available anywhere in the engineering areas of Waterloo campus. Besides having their work immortalized in pixel form, the winning designer will earn a $25 Visa gift card!
Submissions are due to vpcomm.a@engsoc.uwaterloo.ca by 11:59 on Sunday, June 11th Friday, May 26th. All submissions should be PNG files with transparent backgrounds, and be 1080×1920 pixels.
Check out Snapchat’s community geofilter guidelines for more information, in particular:
– All graphics used must be 100% original.
– No logos or trademarks.
– No photographs.
– No hashtags.
– Be creative and make it visually compelling.
– Don’t cover up too much of the screen.
– Make sure it’s relevant to the location and something that people will want to use.
